👋 Hello there, I'm Ben!

I am currently doing an internship as Visiting Forward Deployed AI Engineer at BCG X in Berlin.

As a Teaching Assistant (Tutor), I guided students through the courses "Algorithms and Data Structures" and "Project Media".

During my time as a Full Stack Web Developer, I worked on robust healthcare applications. Using Vue.js and Node.js, I worked on projects that demanded high security and data privacy standards.

My AI research at DFKI centered on Large Language Models and Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF). I specialized in training LLMs on large-scale GPU clusters and explored how weak supervision could be used to scale reward models.

I am currently pursuing my Master's in Computer Science, focusing on Cognitive Systems and Machine Learning. During this degree, in the winter semester of 2025/2026, I completed a study abroad semester (ERASMUS+) at the University of Ljubljana where I focused on Bioinformatics and Computational Genomics.

Previously, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Digital Media (Medieninformatik) at TU Berlin. I received an award for exceptional academic performance as a top graduate in 2023/2024.
